UX and UI design, like any other field, has numerous pros, but also some cons, which are also important when choosing a profession. We’ve compiled the pros and cons.

Pros

A variety of projects. For example, today it can be a site for the sale of real estate, and tomorrow – a service to order a cab.
Quick results. UI/UX designer can almost immediately see the result of their work and get feedback from customers and users.
Good opportunities for growth. An interface designer encounters and learns from other designers, developers and technical writers. This “baggage” makes it easier to move into a related profession or grow to management positions.

Cons
Subjectivity of Tastes. It is necessary not only to make it beautiful, but also so that the client likes it. The customer’s vision may be different from yours, and sometimes you have to concede.
All the time in the process. A designer needs to be constantly learning while at the same time being at work.
Less room for creativity compared to other designers. Users are accustomed to certain UI / UX-standards, and if much depart from them, the interface will not be as convenient and understandable to them.
